SKAGWAY, Alaska (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) A small hotel in Alaska is paying tribute to a ghost which haunts the joint by brewing a beer in the spooks honor.
The ghost has haunted the Golden North Hotel in Skagway, Alaska, for 100 years and the spooky brew is a sort-of centennial anniversary gift.
Dennis Corrington, the owner of the hotel, says the ghost is a beautiful 19-year-old woman named Mary who was jilted by her fiance in 1898. Mary was so broken-hearted, she drank herself to death while wearing her wedding gown in Room 24.
Corrington says hell begin serving the beer dedicated to the booze-guzzling ghost in spring when the hotel opens up a new microbrewery.
And, yes, the ghostly brew will be a pale ale.
